Laminate Flooring
There are many types and styles of laminate flooring to help you achieve that amazing wood-floor effect. A variety of products are on the market today, but we mainly use the best to get the best possible finish.
Our most popular laminate is Uniclic (quickstep) products which are available in all types of finish
(Cherry, Elm, Oak, Beech, Pine, Walnut, Mahogany to name but a few) and which come with a 10-20 year guarantee.

Real Wood Flooring
If you want to spend a little more money to create the perfect wood flooring, then we have a variety of engineered real wood flooring which consists of a base of softwood and ply wood, topped with a 3-6 mm solid hardwood finish. Layers of lacquer and oil are then applied to seal the product to give different finishes. As with laminate, this flooring comes in all the required colours and are available in wide plank or narrow strip boards to achieve the desired effect. Solid Wood Flooring
Solid flooring is exactly that - solid planks of hard wood, normally betwen 18-30mm thick depending on the product. Because the wood is solid, this is the most expensive type of wood flooring. The wood planks can be floated on underlay or fully stuck down to the floor to give a 'contract' finish. The wood comes in a variety of widths and lengths. Some are finished in lacquer, others are oiled, or you can choose an unfinished product and have it finished to your liking (see sand and sealing below)
Sand and sealing
We offer this service for new unfinished wood flooring where light sanding is required and top coats can be applied to give a colouring of your choice. If you have an existing wood floor that you would like restored to its original finish, we also offer this as a separate service. Please contact us for details.
Sprung floors
For areas of high footfall (dance floors, sport halls etc) sprung flooring is the perfect choice. The wood is fitted onto wooden battening to give a 'sprung' effect.
Wood Flooring Accessories
When supplying and fitting your wood floor, we will ensure that all the necessary underlay and sundries are quoted for and supplied to give your flooring the perfect finish.We also sell rosettes which are used to cover radiator pipes. They can be supplied in either wood or plastic in a colour to match your wood flooring. Beading or Scotia can also be supplied to give your floor the perfect finished edge, or if you prefer skirting can be fitted instead of beading in either softwood or hardwood.
All flooring can be professionally fitted if required and we will be pleased to quote you for fitting when you purchase your flooring. And if you have purchased your flooring elsewhere, we do also offer a 'fitting-only' service. Contact us for details.
