I have had many years experience in the carpet trade beginning my career when I was 20 years old (1991) when I started as a warehouse man working for a large carpet retailer. In the 10 years I was employed by them, I gradually worked my way up to shop manager. I then decided I wanted to work for myself and opened a shop in High Wycombe called TK Carpets. Running that shop was when I first decided to learn how to fit flooring as well as retail it. In 2007 I started working from home to keep overheads to a minimum and can now offer the keenest prices possible. To this day I am still very much involved with all the fitting work, alongside other very experienced floor layers. This again keeps costs low and workmanship to a high standard
I like to keep prices very competitive and having come from a background with the larger flooring retailers, am aware of the 'tricks of the trade' such as being able to offer unbelievable discounts on flooring and then reclaiming these discounts by charging extra high costs on the fitting and accessories. I prefer an honest pricing structure and will always give you the best price possible. Therefore please go ahead and ask for a quote - you may be pleasantly surprised!
